These romantic field engagement photos in Edmonton are sure to make your jaw drop. Okay, that may be a little dramatic but hey the connection these two have is undeniable, just check it out!
Sarah is just one of those people that goes with her gut and trusts people and her judgement. I am so incredibly happy she trusted me and chose me for their big day without meeting me. It was such a challenge for me having clients ask to meet prior to them booking since I was living 6 hours away. But not with Sarah, she didn’t hesitate for even a second.
So I am going to be honest here, I think it is super important to either meet your photographer in person or chat a TON before booking your wedding with them. You will spend an entire emotional whirlwind of a day with that person. You better make sure you can handle them for hours on end. Not to mention all of the chatting you will do that year leading up to the big day. I love my clients, but I am also a pretty good judge in character. But I had this one wrong. Haha okay, that sounds terrible, but hear me out.
Sarah is the most easy going, down to earth, go with the flow type of girl I have ever met. I fell in love with her the minute we met for their engagement session this spring. Like literally as soon as they pulled up I knew we were a perfect fit. BUT, if I would have judged Sarah by our conversations I may have thought differently. She was quick with responses but short. She let me decide the location, after the blossoms decided not to work for us, and just said meh to whatever. I was a bit thrown off. Did she not care? Was she not happy? OMG what if we aren’t a good fit, their wedding is in a few months? OMG. I was stressing.
And then, like I said, they pulled up and I was excited!! It wasn’t that Sarah was short or anything of the sorts it’s just that she truly didn’t care about the location or about the time or anything other than spending that time with me and her fiance, Chris. She is just that girl that knows everything will be fabulous no matter what. She is a breath of fresh air and a quality I wish I had.
Anyway, back to what this blog is actually about…Sarah and Chris.
Oh these two…is it September yet?
I am seriously so so excited for their big day. Sarah is going to make one stunning bride and have you seen Chris?! Can you say handsome. Eek!
These two laughed and cuddled, smooched and got serious. They needed no coaching or direction at all. I literally stood back and pushed the button. In this beautiful field that was full of wild flowers, long grass and random trees. It also had some broken doors, a random futon and some passers by making it extra special for us. Haha. What photographers see and what people see is absolutely hilarious. I am positive we started the session out by me asking them to stand in between the futon and the door. Thank goodness they are the best clients ever and did it without a question.
I’m super happy you chose me and I cannot wait for your big day. I could blab on forever about your engagement session, your wedding is going to be fabulous!
