Arezoo and I go back a few years now. I met her when I first moved to Calgary. She booked a boudoir session with me at the beginning of her weight loss journey. Let me tell you, she is doing fan-freaking-tastic! She looks unreal and has been working her butt off at a new healthy lifestyle.

Not shortly after that her and Peter booked a couples session with me. We headed out to the canola fields in Calgary and took some amazing photos as sunset. Check that out here.

And then the big day came…HE PROPOSED!!

Yeah!!!!

We knew it was coming, we just didn’t know when. Arezoo and I talked for months and months and when she finally asked me to be the photographer for her wedding, I was beyond ecstatic! And then she threw me a curve ball that she would really reallllly like to have those beautiful blossoms for her engagement photos. Well as we all know these do not last very long at all, nor do we ever know when they will bloom. But Arezoo and Peter were awesome and made a trip up to Edmonton to see me.

It was a pretty stressful day, not even going to lie. It was sunny all day long and then 5 oclock came and RAIN! It was not letting up either. But we made the best of it. Little did we know, those pretty trees full of pink flowers provides great shelter.

It all worked out the way it was supposed to and I am so happy we made it work and Arezoo got the blossoms she loved.

I cannot wait to put my toes in the sand and join you guys in Mexico next year.
