These Jasper Engagement Photos are absolutely hands down some of my favorite.

We had such a great time chasing the light…literally.

I am lucky enough that a lot of my clients book me without meeting. I guess that means I am doing something right. Anna and Slavko were some of those people. So the first time meeting was in Jasper. It was so incredibly nice to finally meet them. Anna is adorable and man does Slavko adore here.

I can honestly say I have only shot in Jasper once before. I had no idea where to go and everything around us was absolutely stunning. I could have literally just pulled over and shot anywhere. But Anna had a place in mind and it was perfect. I walked through the trees and was just in awe instantly. It was stunning. My head just flooded with ideas.

Now sun…this dear thing we love to hate. I love sun on a regular basis. My mood completely depends on it. But when it comes to my style of photography sun is not my friend, especially bright sun. Since we were in the mountains we scheduled things to start a bit earlier in case the light tucked away being the mountains early. Well the location we chose just happened to be super bright and directly on the spot and angle I wanted to shoot. I refused to let this amazing location go to waist so I got creative. Shot like I never have before and I loved the outcome.

After that I had one more spot I wanted to check out. The light had fallen and it was soft and beautiful. These two got a perfect mix of everything.

I am so incredibly excited for their big day in June!
