Jenn and Mike. A couple that is so humble and so ready to get married. When I met with them to go over their wedding details, they both looked at each other, let out a big sigh, and said we just want to be married. This is one couple that is so humbled by the thought of weddings that they just wanted the marriage to be there already.
We talked about the plans for their day and the minute Jenn said “BOAT” I was stoked. Never ever have I seen a ceremony where there is a daring bride that casually pulls up in a boat. I was so excited for it.
Their big day was out at Seba Beach. The weather was seeming to be great and it was a wonderful day for an outdoor wedding. Although, we had some challenges. The amount of clouds that were skipping across the sky caused for some lighting struggles. Shade. Sun. Shade. Sun. It was a challenge to say the least. But the way there ceremony went, it was perfect to show off that beautiful Alberta blue sky.
The day was great, the wedding party were awesome as usual and the bride and groom let us have our way with them. At the reception I was sitting outside, taking everything in. And I saw a sail boat. The only boat on the entire lake that looked just like glass it was so calm. I knew I had to steal Jenn and Mike for just a few more photos. They were awesome about it and they turned out to be my favourite images from the day.
Thank you Jenn and Mike, for having us be a part of your day. We wish you so much happiness in your long life together!

I love the way Mike goes out of his way to do sweet things for me, like bringing me home Starbucks, giving me foot massages, buying me flowers, telling me I’m beautiful and that he loves me all the time. He is a sensitive soul. He said he loves that I’m beautiful, smart and witty, and that I’m his best friend.Mike said he will most remember getting ready with his boys and waiting in anticipation right before the ceremony started. I will remember how jittery and nervous I felt all morning, and how amazingly calm and happy I felt the moment I saw Mike. During the ceremony I felt like we were the only ones there.Mike was most looking forward to seeing me get off the boat and walk down the pier (aisle) in my dress. I was most looking forward to reciting my personal wedding vows to Mike in front of all of our family and friends. And last but certainly not least, we chose NC Photography because: you came highly recommended by a dear friend of ours, you are so driven and passionate about your work and developing your talent, and you genuinely believe in true love and want to capture it
