So we have reached 23 weeks, and what a journey it has been. Every time I update this blog and I write what week we are on I am completely shocked. I cannot believe it has been 23 weeks already.
We had a busy weekend in Medicine Hat visiting friends and family and working. Your Dad stayed home in Calgary and worked his little butt off for us.
It was a great weekend but you sure tired your Mom out. I guess I can’t be as busy as I used to be with you sitting in my belly. Sorry for all the activity going on. We made lots of visit to people we love and had some work to do as well. It was a great weekend!
We spent a lot of time with your Gramma too but you were playing shy and wouldn’t let her feel your beautiful little kicks. But then, the last night with her cold little hands, she touched you and you kicked her really really hard. Harder than we have seen this whole time. Thank you for making her happy. It was great!
Not much else went on this week. Lots of kicking lately but none of those gigantic ones that we can really see from the outside (other than when you were showing off for your Gramma). You love when your little puppies sit on my belly, you kick them like crazy. They are going to be jealous dogs when you arrive.

We are actually starting on your room next week. Your Mom made a mistake and ordered the wrong crib so we are off to the store to return it and get all new stuff. I call it baby brain, which really is a thing. And then let the painting begin.
Exciting stuff!
Oh and…your Mom has also been really sick yet again. It might be because I over worked myself or because I have always had a pretty weak immune system, or something else. But I am down for the count with this one. Instead of getting the typical morning sickness that normally comes with pregnancy, I got a 3 month cold that keeps coming back to kick me in the butt harder then the last time. We are hoping this is the last time for that to happen though. So again, I apologize for all the sneezing and coughing going on.
Until next time…
