Just when I thought we were all prepared to go to the hospital when you decide you want to come out, but I completely forgot about stuff. You need sleepers and diapers and gosh I don’t even know what else. Thank you to the internet for handy dandy checklists to help your clueless parents out. But first step, I went and bought a diaper bag. I tried to make it not so girly so your Dad won’t be embarrassed carrying it.
Your Mom has been a tad emotional lately. Yes, everyone says it’s the hormones but I could seriously cry over everything. Just this week I cried because I can’t get my hair dyed. I know, materialistic or what. Everything just gets to me so easily. Can you imagine how emotional I will be when I see you? Yikes!!
I used to say how tired I was, that wasn’t even close to what I’m feeling now. I am up 4-6 times a night to go to the washroom or to just flip over. I’m having tons of pains in my hips as I lay so it is really hard to stay comfortable for any length of time. So your Mama is exhausted. I think we should just sleep for a few weeks until you are ready!
Oh and we had a visitor this week too. Your Uncle Nathan came to see us. He has seen us a few times since my belly has started growing but he hasn’t really seen you move yet. Let’s just say you freaked him out a bit. But thanks for cooperating and letting him see you. He is going to be a great Uncle and spoil you to death. We are already planning pool parties this summer.
Something very interesting happened this week too.
You dropped!
Like really really dropped. You were sitting pretty high, causing some challenges when it comes to breathing, but the other day when I got up something was different. I wasn’t too sure what it was so I just stared at my belly. Hmmmm…something has changed. So I took a picture and sent it to your Gramma and Uncle and asked what they thought.
Yup!
You are making your way out.
WAIT! NOT YET! IT’S TOO EARLY!
So you are much much lower these days. This is great, it means you are just getting ready early. But at the same time, you are soooo heavy on my little body. And we really need you to stay in there for at least a few more weeks.
