Week 36 hey. I don’t even think I ever imagined being at this point. To look back on 36 weeks of having you grow and move inside of me is absolutely crazy. This pregnancy has gone by so fast and with ease. We have had a few bumps along the way, but that is all they were…bumps. I am so happy and thankful that it has been what is has. Even my Mom is so proud of how I have been. Although, I will admit that I am one grouchy girl lately. Thank goodness your Dad puts up with me the way he does. He is amazing and I love him to death.
We had a busy week with lots of company and some last minute photography work. Your Mom is officially tired and sore. It is getting really hard to move around and bend down. Waddling has become a natural part of my day. I never really understood why pregnant ladies waddled. I guess it is because it becomes no longer an option. I can try and fake it and walk normal but I probably just look even weirder.
Our doctors appointment went well. My blood pressure is still high so we are just going with the fact that I like salt and it has been high this whole time. Now that we get to the end I do feel a bit stressed and overwhelmed so I am trying to breathe and keep calm but it is hard. Your heart rate is still 140 and your are still on your way out. They said you most likely won’t move now until you arrive so that makes me super happy.
Your movements are hardly what I would call “kicks” anymore. You literally move in there. You move your little bum from one side to the other causing me a lot of discomfort and a really weird looking belly. So we spank you a lot already to get you back in place. Sorry about that! But I still sit and smile everytime you do anything in there (which is a lot, all of the time.) Especially your hiccups. At least 3 times a day for almost an hour you get massive hiccups. I wonder if you will have them lots when you come out too.
Next week is going to be a busy busy one. Your Nana and Auntie Tara are coming for a visit from B.C. for the week and we are all headed to Medicine Hat for our baby shower. I am so excited about it. Having both our families in one place has not happened since our wedding so it will be amazing. And we have tons of friends and extended family coming. I cannot wait.
More to come next week…if you hang in there!
