When I pictures the girls pink and white boho first birthday photos this was exactly what I imagined it would look like. And TRUST me I have imagined this for years. I dreamed of having a baby girl in my life for as long as I can remember. I knew that I wouldn’t feel complete until I got to share my life with a daughter. As luck would have it, and many years of loss and infertility, I was blessed with not only one daughter but two.

The minute we found out they were girls, I knew it was game over. Their room had to be extra special and so did their first birthday. All things pink and floral and white. Yes please. I know in the coming years they will decide what they like and stop listening to me so for now, I will have it my way.

Everything turned out better than I could have imagined. This day was a mess, like a giant hot mess. Just as it can be expected with twins and taking your own photos. I was mentally prepared for that. But 4 hours later I never would have thought we would spend an entire day shooting their photos. I guess they can never say we didn’t celebrate them at least.

The cake, the flowers, the outfits it was all perfect in my mind. It was everything and more.
