One lovely spring day when I was looking to let out my creative side and shoot something for me, I planned a small styled bridal shoot with some local talent.
I had this vision of green grass and gardens and sunlight. Airy and romantic.
The morning of, I just knew this wasn’t going to go as I planned but I was definitely ready to shoot in the rain and in the clouds.
Nope, that wasn’t even going to happen.
The minute Jenn with Jack’d Up Beauty Boutique finished her magic it got super dark and poured.
I was completely super bummed but was not going to waste the day.
So I improvised, Big time!
We shot this whole set in the bonus room of my house. It is not at all what I had in my head or what we had planned but I was totally put out of my comfort zone and pushed to use my imagination. I normally freeze when you give me four walls and a camera. I need nature around me to spark my ideas. But ideas kept coming to me and having the stunning Martina in front of my lens made things a lot easier.
I am a huge planner but sometimes you just gotta go with it!
