My experience with NC Photography:
The beginning:
I started following NC Photography about a year before I got engaged. I loved her work from the beginning! As soon as I became engaged, I knew exactly who I wanted to capture our moments. I emailed her almost right away to inquire. She replied the same night and answered all my questions. A couple days later, she emailed me back and asked if I had any other questions. And it turns out that I did! I found that so nice that she emailed me back to see how I was doing and to lay to rest any concerns I had. I booked her not too long after that email. Keep in mind that this was a year and half away from the wedding day we chose. I wanted to make sure that she was available for our day.
The middle:
We chatted here and there in the year before the wedding but we didn’t start talking more until I found my wedding dress and booked the engagement pictures. She was extremely helpful in preparing us for the engagement session. I’m not a “wing it” kind of girl, so this was perfect for me! The day of our engagement session was the first time I met Nicole and Shawn in person but right away it felt like I knew them for a long time. They made us feel so comfortable. I was worried about Scott since he didn’t like getting photographed, but Shawn and Nicole made us laugh and laugh and laugh and every smile that they captured that day was REAL. I loved their little comments here and there to eachother and little jokes they cracked at us too. The hour flew by and we felt really good about everything after that.
Right before the wedding, I would text Nicole pics of the dresses and ideas that I had. I had a couple hiccups along the way in regards to planning and she helped me put things in perspective and made me feel better. (I had to change my walk down the aisle song and it upset me quite a bit, but Nicole reminded me that that’s not as important as love and marrying my best friend)
The end:
Nicole and Shawn drove over 6 hours to our small town in the middle of nowhere (chainsaw massacre style) the night before the wedding. On top of everything, Nicole was 8 months pregnant!! What troopers they were!! They both fit right in to our family and friends and they were awesome with everyone, including some squinty eyes from Scott and I and some of our rowdy bridal party. When we received our pics and went through them all, Scott and I were in awe. NC Photography captured moments that we didn’t even know happened and we are so thankful for that since we missed alot during the day. Our formals were amazing. They are everything we wanted plus more. While looking through our photos, the phrases we kept saying were “wow they are SO good at what they do” and “I love it” “I love that one too” “Heck I love them all”. I would definitely recommend NC Photography to anybody! Hands down! And we thank you NC Photography for being there, ALL day, and capturing the moments that we will now be able to treasure forever.
