Who doesn’t want Edmonton Ice Castle Wedding Photos?!
Seriously this day was perfect for so many reasons. Not only is Laryssa so important to me but it was a pretty magical day from start to finish.
Laryssa and I met back in 2007 when I first moved to Edmonton, I was actually her boss at one point. We were instant friends, but then again anyone who meets these ladies becomes their friend. They are the perfect version of a girl tribe and everything you hope to have in your life. Serious envy over here! They have all been friends for so many years, been in each others weddings (I got to see them all when I shot Agnieszka’s wedding too) and been there for each other through everything. I am lucky enough to call a few of them friends too!
When Laryssa asked me to be a part of her day it meant so much to me. 10 years in the making and I get to watch this girl turn into a bride. It seriously is one of the best parts of my job. Seeing people I truly love and care about have one of the best days of their lives. I may be a little selfish but getting a back stage pass and up close view of their day is a big perk!
From the stunning dresses and details, to the first looks with Laryssas Dad and Brian. The freezing cold temperatures (seriously it was -24 before the windchill), to the iconic ice castle where we did their photos. And of course the laughs that brought tears, the coordinated dance and the many memories made. It was the most amazing day.
Happy Anniversary Laryssa and Brian, thought it was about time I share your photos. Thanks for the reminder of a pretty fabulous day.
xoxo
Love you guys
