I always like to tell a little about our story and how our working relationship came about. I always feel like I’m introducing a character in a book. This is the beginning of their fairytale!
When Sarah first emailed me about their wedding, I knew we were a perfect fit.
“Hi! Love your Facebook page and website. Your style is exactly what I am looking for”
Yup, in that little sentence I just knew we were perfect for each other. It really does matter how you inquire, well to me it does anyway (a blog on this is coming up!)
So right away we got talking about their day. I could tell that she was so excited and genuinely a sweet girl.
The day we pulled up to their property just outside of Edmonton, it was like love at first sight. Yup, between Sarah and I hahah.
She was this down to earth, little country girl. I know she will love me for calling her a country girl, because Marc is doing such a great job transitioning her from her city ways.
Marc is a guys guy. Rugged, tough, and works hard. But the minute I lifted the camera he squeezed Sarah tight, held her face so gently in his hands and made the camera disappear.
I literally stopped and was in awe of it. Here was this guy that I thought might give me a hard time, come on now most guys do. But no, he was a gem to work with and I am beyond excited to see him all dressed up for the wedding.
And Sarah, well she is so darling. Petite, and kind. Generous and thoughtful. Cute and sweet. She is everything you would want in your best friend.
They were perfect together, and so is their land. Holy, I do not think I have ever taken as many photos as I did during their engagement session. Every square inch of that place was photo worthy.
And the LIGHT. Oh the light! We were blessed this day with so many magical things.
Sara and Marc, thank you for choosing me to document some very special moments in your life. I am counting down the days right with you!
For now, here are a few (to say the least) of my personal favs!!
