One thing I absolutely love about this girl is the way she puts such a soft beauty on anything she touches. Here is a little bit about one of my favorite wedding designer and stylists.

How did you get in to wedding planning?
I often get asked “So why wedding planning” and the truth is I can’t imagine doing anything else. I feel that it’s always been in my blood to plan events and the fact that I am now able to follow my dream and make other people’s come true, well it just doesn’t get any better than that. The start of my career was purely the right place at the right time. I started as the Wedding Director for the Northern Bear Golf Club and after 3 years of working within a venue I was asked by a friend to privately plan her wedding and after I was done I just knew it was the path for me. I was certified by the WPIC in 2011 and after one last season at the golf course I launched JoyFoley Weddings {the name comes from my daughters middle name Joy and my last name Foley and is meant to sound like joyfully}.

What advice can you give brides on the planning process?
If I could offer brides one piece of advice it would be to remember why you’re getting married. So often we get distracted by the planning process and the outside influences that we forget the real reason why we’re getting married which is LOVE. Follow your heart and remember to be true to what you and your fiancé want in your wedding day. If you want a small and intimate wedding, have one! If you want a large and extravagant reception, have one! Just remember to listen to your heart and to each other!
