Now Saphire Wedding Photos |Mayan Riviera Mexico | Tyler and Chantille

Words cannot even describe my feelings about this day, or week.

I met Chantille in September of 2011 when I shot the biggest wedding I have yet to shoot in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Chantille and I clicked right away. Fixing her hair and helping her pose, we just hit it off. Who would’ve thought that she would be contacting me the very same day she got proposed to. I couldn’t be more thrilled. I’ve mentioned it before, but I find that booking couples from previous weddings assures you, you are doing something right. It is very flattering.

So when Chantille contacted me about her day, I knew we had to make it work. She mentioned it being a Destination Wedding in Mexico. Unfortunately I wasn’t taking any more Destination Weddings for 2013 (as we were trying to plan a family) but there was no way I could turn this down. So we actually planned starting our new family around Chantille and Tyler’s big day. Thank goodness the world works in great ways and all worked out. Being 7 months pregnant at her wedding was a challenge, but I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Talking with Chantille over the year about her plans I was ecstatic.

Blush, lace, pink, sand. Yes please!

It was everything I have been wanting to shoot in a wedding. And what better location than the beaches of Mexico.

The week of was a bit hectic with some bumps along the way, but what wedding day doesn’t have bumps right. Having one of her brides maids walk in from the airport 20 minutes before the ceremony was as perfect as it was getting. Everything worked out as we knew it would. The sun was shining, there was a beautiful breeze and we had a stunning bride and groom. It was a magical day.

As I watched Chantille go from her satin housecoat to her stunning lace gown, my jaw dropped. I knew this girl was beautiful from the inside but wow did she sparkle. Her eyes lit up and you could just tell that her dreams had all came true. I don’t think I have ever taken as many photos as I did this day.

We sent Shawn over to hang out with the guys. Man were these some handsome looking groomsmen, and of course the groom. When I saw Tyler I was thrilled. I knew he looked amazing and was going to put a big smile on Chantilles face.  The guys wore amazing ivory suits with pieces of white. It was elegant and manly.

Seeing the Cermony all come together was something to be amazed by. This wedding is the wedding to use as an example if you are thinking of having a Destination Wedding but still want it to be spectacular. Full of details, stunning backdrops, and elegant as ever. Just because it is on a beach does not mean you have to give up things that are important to you.

The day was perfect. The people were amazing. It was brilliant.

Thank you so much Chantille and Tyler for including us in such a special time in your lives. Your friends and family made us feel like a part of them the entire week. Chantille, it has been so great getting to know you. You are one amazing lady.

XO

Nicole and Shawn

P.S. It’s a long post but I just could not narrow down the photos. I love something about each and every one of them. And am certain this is the best we have ever shot at a wedding yet!
