Anna and Slavko’s wedding was so beautiful. From their improvised first look to being blessed by their parents and ending with a fabulous receptions they put together themselves (with amazing help from family).
This summer seems to be the summer for rain so far. 4 weddings in and they have all had a bit of crazy weather at one point or another. This day was no different. It was literally pouring sheet rain right after the ceremony. I thought for sure we were doomed for their formal photos. But the sun came shining (a bit too bright for my liking actually, haha never happy) and it was actually a pretty gorgeous day.
We headed to Fort Edmonton Park for their romantic portraits and the ones with their fabulous bridal party. It is hands down my favorite place to shoot formals. It offers so much variety. I could shoot there every day.
When I walked into their reception at the Polish Hall my jaw dropped. Anna told me it was “nothing special”, not a ton of details ect ect. She’s crazy haha. It was absolutely breathtaking the way they used the wall lighting and added the touches of purple without going overboard was fabulous. It looked amazing, I would have never guessed we were in a hall.
Thank you for sharing your day with me you two. I have enjoyed watching your love and with you a beautiful future.
( and while you’re checking things out, if you haven’t already seen their engagement photos you need to!)
