Edmonton Wedding Photographer|Story Book Love

Melissa & Reggie booked me for their 2012 wedding a very long time ago. We have planned their engagement session a number of times, but due to a rough year for the couple we had to post pone.

May 6th was the day and it was finally here.

If you know me, I love to make everything and anything I do personal. I talk to my couples about what would mean the most to them in their photos and if there is something we can add to make even more meaningful ones. Melissa suggested the land that they are building their house on.

Aside from that, with my re-branding, I am trying to incorporate what the couple wants with a little bit of what I love. Turns out when I asked Melissa if she had any books laying around, that she is an avid reader. It was just meant to me. Melissa was my dream come true. She emailed me photos of things she had and it was just perfect. We were a perfect fit.

So we headed out to their land, where the rain had taken over and the ground was muddy and wet. This didn’t stop us. We set up a little picnic and had a blast. Melissa & Reggis are freaking adorable. I mean the epitome of adorable. He makes her laugh like nothing else I have ever seen. I mean, I laugh a lot, but this session topped the cake for the most laughs in my books.

I cannot wait for your big day. Melissa, you are going to make one beautiful bride.
