White Tent Wedding | Edmonton Photographer|

This White Tent Wedding is one you do not want to miss. A beautiful backyard turned into a stunning affair.

Once again I am so lucky to have won the friendship lottery with this group. Adriana came to me through another one of my clients, Karly, who is one of my brides from next year but has also been in 2 of my other weddings. Long story short I have been lucky enough to photograph a whole group of amazing girls that are wonderful friends. I am blessed and beyond thankful for each and every one of them. I can’t wait until Karly’s wedding next year when I get to see them all again.

Back to this amazing wedding. I remember meeting Adriana and Dylan during their  engagement session

and realizing just how awesome and down to earth they were. Oh and just how much Dylan adores this girl. Chatting with them about their day I just knew it was going to be amazing and just so perfect for who they are.

When I met up with the girls that morning they were all calm and collected and ready for the day. Surrounded by natural light, a stunning room and just perfect energy. It was bound to be a perfect day.

Their ceremony was outdoors in the same yard as their white tent reception. Now I would be lying if I said this was an easy one for me. It was actually one of the most trickiest wedding ceremonies I have ever shot. Dappled light is a photographers biggest struggle. One side was completely shaded while the other was filled with bright high noon sun. There is no way to balance this for a ceremony. You better believe that when the clouds came I shot my butt off trying to grab a full ceremony shot before the sun came back. It was beautiful, don’t get me wrong, just a challenge. Every single wedding I have shot has came with a learning opportunity. I have shot hundreds of weddings and I’m still learning all the time. It’s the best part of my job.

After the ceremony we headed out for formal photos where again, the sun was bright and it was hot out, not to mention the bugs were bad. So we whipped through them as fast as we could and I mixed up the use of light. I haven’t had a bright sunny wedding day like this in a while so it definitely put me to the test and I love the outcome.

Adriana and Dylan ooze romance so the light actually played a big part in giving them images to match that. Dylan has this soft strong presence about him. He is confident and mature and over all just a pretty awesome guy. While Adriana is stunning beyond words with a heart of gold. She has the most amazing eyes I have ever seen and is just so caring. I could have photographed these two all day.

Their reception was absolutely perfect in every single way. A huge white tent filled with 200 of their closest family and friends. Amazing dessert table with greenier and soft florals. It was straight out of a magazine.

I feel so blessed to be part of these days. I get to see past and preset clients, which just warms my heart. I get to witness the joining of two families. I get to hear some pretty awesome speeches (and these ones were pretty freaking good). I just am so so lucky to be part of it all.

Thank you guys for choosing me for your day. I am so happy I could capture all of this for you.

Until next time

Xo

Nicole
