Arisa and Joe were the very first people I had ever shot when I decided to try family portraits when we moved to Calgary.

I am so happy this little family came into my life, they are just adorable.

When Arisa said she wanted me for her engagement photos during my Edmonton trip I was super excited.  She is super stylish and stunning.

We met up in Edmonton on a fall night in September. It was kind of a weird day when it came to the light.

It was bright, then dark. The sky was shades of blue, purple and with a haze.

We were aiming for a beautiful sunset, as I always do with controlled sessions, but it just was not working with us.

None the less I absolutely love the colors we got. This was shot in the fall but instead of the oranges and reds it was browns and tans. It was beautiful.
